James Gunn officially unveils new ‘Superman’ logo — One year countdown begins

On July 11, Director James Gunn took a quick reprieve from overseeing production on his latest project, Superman, which is currently filming in Cleveland, Ohio, to unveil the official first confirmation of the newly revamped Man of Steel logo to commemorate that the film is officially 365 days, or one year, away from its theatrical landing. 

As mentioned, the Planet will not post or report any of the film’s leaks.

The director and co-CEO of DC Studios posted the image on social media with the caption:  

In exactly one year #Superman opens all over the world.

“Superman” stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as star-studded Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as photographer Jimmy Olsen, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Nicholas Hoult as classic antagonist Lex Luthor, Neva Howell as Marhta Kent, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan “Pa” Kent, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, and Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe.

The cast also includes Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner and María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer. 

“Superman” is slated to land in theaters exactly one year from today, on July 11, 2025.

  1. Yes!!! Best super hero EVER!! No one can match Superman no matter how hard they try. Superman is THE superhero! He’s been my hero since I was 2…1978..Christopher Reeve is my hero. I followed him til his death. I heard about it when I was in the Army. I cried like no other. I will ALWAYS follow Superman no matter what. Did not like Batman v Superman. It was a joke. Superman could have killed Batman any time he wanted to, but Superman is not a killer. He’s a true American Hero!
