Predictions for Sunday into Monday morning were fairly accurate, with areas of the greater metro receiving between 4 to 11 inches of snow. The storm capped a historic and unusually warm Winter season where snowfall was sparce. The storm left behind a beautiful Winter landscape as more moisture moved into the area. The Metro is expected to experience a wintery mix overnight with possible freezing, which could lead to slippery conditions.

The Twin Cities Metro experienced a significant winter storm Sunday into Monday.

Predictions for Sunday into Monday morning were fairly accurate, with areas of the greater metro receiving between 4 to 11 inches of snow.
