Metro Police asking for publics help to identify man involved in multiple armed robberies

MINNEAPOLIS— The Minneapolis Police department is seeking the publics assistance in identifying a man involved in multiple violent armed robberies.

The suspect, described as a Black man in his 30s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, with black hair and a goatee, is accused of committing several offenses last month.

Incidents include assaulting a man with a handgun, stealing his backpack, and similarly attacking two women, taking one of their purses.

On December 3, the suspect allegedly struck a man with a handgun, attempted a robbery, shot the victim, and carjacked his vehicle near Fourth Avenue South and Lake Street. The stolen vehicle was later discovered abandoned and burned in Bloomington.
