At least 53 people found dead in abandoned tractor-trailer in San Antonio

The bodies of at least 53 people believed to be migrants were found dead on Monday in and around a tractor-trailer abandoned on the outskirts of San Antonio, Texas.

More than a dozen others have been taken to the hospital, according to The Texas Tribune. Local officials said federal authorities were investigating the case and three people had been taken into custody.
