The atmosphere is constantly rising, mixing, and moving during its 22-hour day, bringing hotter material up and pushing colder material down. The resulting brightness changes are so dramatic that it is the most variable planetary-mass object known to date.

Doctor and treatment facility ordered to pay civil penalties

The Department of Justice, together with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), today announced that the government will collect $100,000 in civil penalties from Defendants Dalal Akoury MD, PLLC, AWAREmed Wholistic Urgent Care, PLLC, and medical provider Dalal Akoury as part of a settlement to resolve alleged violations of the Opioid Addiction Recovery Fraud Prevention Act of 2018 and the FTC Act in connection with the advertising of treatment services of AWAREmed Health and Wellness Resource Center (AWAREmed).

Emerald Ash Borer found in Faribault County

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) has confirmed the presence of emerald ash borer (EAB) in Faribault County for the first time. There are now 40 counties in the state, including Faribault, with EAB.

The announcement was made in a Note to Correspondents, released by the UN Secretary-General’s spokesperson’s office on Saturday, which emphasized that the Initiative allows for the “facilitation of the safe navigation for the exports of grain and related foodstuffs and fertilizers, including ammonia, from designated Ukrainian seaports.”
