Toby Emmerich replaced as Chairman of Warner Bros. Picture Group

Under Emmerich’s leadership, Warner Bros’ New Line film division released incredibly successful productions as James Wan’s “Aquaman”, Bradley Cooper’s “A Star is Born”, and Jon M. Chu’s “Crazy Rich Asians”. Despite those accomplishments for the studio, the former chairman has faced mounting criticisms in the last few years.

Honoring ‘Women of the Movement’

On Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, millions of Americans watched the conclusion of “Women of the Movement,” ABC’s six-episode limited series on the grisly murder of Emmett Till and how his mother’s fight for justice influenced the Civil Rights Movement.
