Boba Fett invites himself to the Smugglers Ball in ‘Star Wars: The War of the Bounty Hunters no. 2’

//

Who would ever think that one ordinary man would bring all the syndicates in the galaxy together under one roof? The same man who grew up not too far from the shipyards of Corellia. The same man who was labeled a scum rat and was, very likely, told that he would not amount to anything.

‘The Bad Batch’ learns to find ‘Common Ground’ with a Separatist Senator

/

As seen in “Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones,” the Clone Wars further created a political division within the galaxy. Some planets aligned with the Galactic Republic, while others aligned with the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) or the Separatists.

Durge gets unleashed in ‘Star Wars: Doctor Aphra no.11’

As the “War of the Bounty Hunters” continues, everyone’s path is leading to the newly reborn Crimson Dawn. Just about everyone in the galaxy, whether they have a connection to the carbonite frozen Han Solo or unfinished business with Solo or Crimson Dawn, has an invitation for the auction of Han Solo being held on the frozen planet of Jekara. One person who has been invited is armed smuggler Ebann Drake who is aboard a luxury liner The Opal Empress which is orbiting the Outer Rim planet Kaderin.  Warning: Spoilers Ahead

Boba Fett actor fuming over Disney for renaming ‘Slave I’

/

An actor who played bounty hunter Boba Fett in the 1997 special edition of “Star Wars: A New Hope” is none too happy with Disney changing the name of Boba Fett’s starship from “Slave I” to just “Boba Fett’s starship.”

Darth Vader takes on IG-88

/

Darth Vader always saw himself as a powerful force (no pun intended) to be reckoned with, especially when he was an aspiring young Jedi rising through the ranks of the Jedi Order. The tortured soul was once a powerful yet caring soul named Anakin Skywalker, who believed that he was destined to be the most powerful Jedi ever. It was clear to see the seeds of hubris were planted and shown throughout the Star Wars films and other mediums.

Who sent Fennec Shang to go after the Bad Batch’s Omega?

//

In the fourth episode “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,”our heroic misfits are still on the run from the newly Galactic Empire. Low on credits, fuel and food, the Batch decides to go to the planet Pantora. In addition, Tech comes up with a brilliant idea to scramble their ship’s flight signature so that they could go to any planet undetected from the eyes of the Empire. However, little do the rogue clones know, bounty hunter Fennec Shand is right on their tail.

In the latest episode, “Reunion,” the Bad Batch gets cornered by Crosshair and the Empire on the planet Bracca thanks to the scrapper guild alerting them. However, while the Bad Batch tries to get off the junkyard-wide planet, it seems that not everyone on the Imperial side is on the same page.

The Rebels race to save Han Solo

//

As the “War of the Bounty Hunters” continues, Princess Leia and the Rebels learn that Han Solo has been found. They also learn that Boba Fett has lost the carbonite frozen smuggler. If you’re a Rebel, especially one who is a part of Leia’s inner circle, you would think that was good news. However, maybe it’s too good.

Captain Rex returns to help ‘The Bad Batch’

//

The inhibitor chips implanted into the heads of the Clones in the Grand Army of the Republic have changed the course of the Star Wars Galaxy. When the self-appointed Emperor Palpatine uttered  the chilling words “Execute Order 66,” almost every Clone trooper unwillingly carried out their programming to kill the Jedi Knights and their padawans, or those who aided them.

Han Solo’s checkered past returns in ‘Star Wars: The War of the Bounty Hunters no. 1’

/

“War of the Bounty Hunters no. 1” was an issue that featured a reveal which I didn’t see coming. It appears that the frozen Han Solo is the high-value target in this ongoing war, and only time will tell where the spoils of war will fall and which regime will reign victorious. For example, the Rebel Alliance, The Empire, the Hutts, and practically all the bounty hunters in the galaxy are involved.

As Clone Force 99, The Bad Batch acclimates further into mercenary life, and they are sent on their second mission as mercenaries. Cid has tasked the clones to retrieve a separatist tactical droid from a decommissioning facility on the planet Corellia so that she can sell it and make money.

/

Everyone is feeling the effects of the nascent Galactic Empire. The Bad Batch, besides Crosshair, are seen as deserters. The Jedi are all but extinct after Order 66 was carried out by the clones. Citizens across the galaxy are forced to have chain codes so that the Empire can keep tabs on them. The underworld is also feeling the effects as the Bad Batch travels to the Outer Rim planet Ord Mantell to get intel on the bounty hunter sent to go after Omega.

Star Wars legends return in ‘Doctor Aphra no. 10’

/

Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra does not play the hero. She is an archaeologist who is out to do her job and get paid. She has had run-ins with both the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. She was under the employ of Darth Vader and also owed the Rebels a favor.
