I-90 westbound Marion Rest Area closure begins Nov. 13 for structural repairs

EYOTA— The westbound Interstate 90 Marion Rest Area will temporarily close beginning Nov. 13 for crews to make structural repairs on the building, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

It is expected that the rest area will reopen the week of Nov. 20. Motorists are encouraged to check www.511mn.org, or the free mobile app, to see the most current information about the closure. 

The rest area is at mile marker 222, west of the Highway 42 exit to Eyota, about 3.5 miles east of the Highway 52 exit to Rochester. The next westbound rest area after Marion is Oakland Woods Rest Area at mile marker 171 west of Austin.
