A surprising standout is Brendan Fraser in a brief appearance as W. S. Hamilton, Hale’s attorney, contributing to the authenticity of the world depicted. The entire cast does justice to their roles, making the film’s world all the more immersive.
While the movie’s soundtrack is subtle and may not have a significant impact, it serves its purpose in setting the tone and mood, allowing the storytelling to take center stage.
The costume and set design, along with makeup and hairstyling, are outstanding, transporting the audience to the early 20th century setting and the lives of the characters.

The movie may not leave a lasting impact, but it is a necessary watch, particularly for those interested in exploring themes of greed, deception, and power. It introduces a different style of storytelling that is worth experiencing.
