Actors Michael Rosenbaum and Tom Welling discuss “Smallville’s” season one episode “X-Ray” in the latest episode of their new podcast, “Talk Ville.”

“Talk Ville” is a weekly podcast about “Smallville” (2001-2011), featuring costars Tom Welling (Clark Kent) and Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) as they take you behind the scenes of one of the greatest shows of all time.

In their upcoming episode, which drops tomorrow wherever podcasts are available, the duo discuss cast member crushes, frustrations with “X-Ray’s” director and harsh criticism on the show’s effects.

Tom also talks about what he had to go through in order to get the X-Ray “pretending” scenes mastered and a scene he messed up but ultimately made the final cut of the episode.

In “Smallville’s” “X-Ray,” Clark (Welling) discovers that he has X-Ray vision, but struggles to use it properly. Meanwhile, shape-shifter Tina Greer (Lizzy Caplan) robs a bank impersonating Lex Luthor (Rosenbaum), and then decides that she wants to become Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) — permanently.

Currently, “Smallville” is available to stream on Hulu. Learn more about “Talk Ville” and subscribe on their website. “X-Ray” aired Nov. 6, 2001.
