San Diego Comic Con returns after two-year COVID hiatus

One of the world’s biggest celebrations of pop culture returns on Thursday, July 21 after a two-year absence from its longterm home at the San Diego Convention Center, and will run to Sunday, July 24.

The event features thousands of exhibits, panels and stalls, an array of cosplay and eagerly-anticipated appearances from the stars and producers of iconic movie and TV franchises such as Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon, the Star Trek Universe and Marvel Studios.

Catherine (Cat) Grant was a business-savvy media mogul who got her start working as a gossip columnist for the Daily Planet. Cat later became a gossip blogger and eventually the CEO of her own company, CatCo Worldwide Media, a multimedia entertainment and news conglomerate based out of National City.
