Volodymyr Zelenskyy will address the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for the first time on Tuesday.

The session will focus on the killing of civilians in Ukraine after scores were found dead, some with their hands tied behind their backs, following Russian troops’ withdrawal from Bucha, a city on the outskirts of Kyiv.

Ahead of the meeting the UK, who is the current UNSC president, stated they want to “ensure the truth is heard about Russia’s war crimes.”
