Final trailer for ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ debuts

1 min read

The final trailer for “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” made its internet shattering debut today. The Snyder Cut is this decades most sought after superhero film with quite the heroic tale attached to its legacy.

Zack Snyder’s original film is a directors cut of the 2017 cinematic flop, “Justice League.” The theatrical version of the film was altered by “Marvel’s The Avengers” Alum Joss Whedon after the dynamic married duo of Director Zack Snyder and Producer Deborah had to exit post production due to a family tragedy.

Fans recognized Whedon’s alterations through major tonal shifts, shoty special effects, goofy and inappropriate moments, Henry Cavill’s mustache debacle and so, so, SO much more. Soon after, fans took to the internet in one of the largest entertainment movements in history while simultaneously raising money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. After the planet wide #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement, HBO Max and Warner Bros. Pictures announced last year that it will exclusively world premiere Zack Snyder’s director’s cut of the 2017 feature film “Justice League.”

#ReleaseTheSnyderCut first became a passionate rallying social media cry among fans in 2017. From countless press articles and hundreds of millions of social media mentions, it became a powerful global movement among cinephiles and comic book fans alike.

Snyder’s highly sought after cut of “Justice League” will be four hours long, making it the longest superhero movie to date. The highly anticipated film will be released to HBO Max on March 18, 2021.

When the Valentine’s Day trailer premiered, viewers were shocked not only at the visualization and stark differences from “Josstice League,” (a term associated with Whedon’s version) but also by an original conversation between Batman and Joker, where Gotham’s infamous Clown Prince of Crime said, “We live in a society where honor is a distant memory.” This “Knightmare” scene is one fans were completely behaved of in the initial 2017 theatrical release.

Warner Bros. Pictures and DC full-length Max Original feature film “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” will premiere on HBO Max on Thursday, March 18.

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”
