Uncovering sex trafficking in Duluth, Minnesota: Part four

This week’s episode of Uncovering the Truth In Minnesota features an interview with Emily Larson, the mayor of Duluth, Minnesota.

Co-hosts, Sarah Knieff and Izabel Johnson, discuss sex trafficking in the city with Mayor Larson. Larson also provided some insight into her personal knowledge and how the city is dealing with this issue.

A brief follow-up on the issue of maritime law and how it applies to human trafficking is also discussed.

Izabel has always had a passion for reading, writing, and solving mysteries. When she is not working, she is most likely spending time with friends and family or unwinding with some Netflix or a good book. Izabel is a senior at the University of Minnesota Duluth and will graduate in December 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in communication.
