Kate Bishop Added to ‘Marvel’s Avengers’ Roster

Disney+ is holding suspense on the Hawkeye series, which is set to debut Hawkeye’s protege, Kate Bishop. However, the Marvel Gaming Universe is growing each day and now welcomes Bishop with open arms.

Kate Bishop was revealed as a playable character for Marvel’s Avengers video game.

The news came on Tuesday that Bishop will a playable character post-launch of the game. In addition to her post-launch debut, she will be making Marvel’ Avengers’ history as the very first character playable post-launch.

Marvel’s Avengers will be available Friday with a modern-original story about fan-favorite inhuman Kamala Khan reassembling the team to take down Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M)

Coming in October, the developers at Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics will release a new story mission titled “Taking Aim,” serving as the debut story of Kate Bishop.

Taking Aim’s story begins shortly after the Reassemble campaign’s conclusion. The story will be the first half of two Hawkeyes’ story arc. Clint Barton’s Hawkeye debut will be in November to complete a sort of “double feature” according to Marvel.com

Both archers will be looking into the mysterious disappearance of Nick Fury after A-Day, the main event that sets off a chain of events — including the disbanding of the Avengers. But now Hawkeye is missing himself. We will see Kate join up with Earth’s mightiest in an effort to find the archer.
